Celebrancy is vocation for us, not a job…
We aim to provide the best possible send off for a loved one and are humbled when family or friends take time to give us feedback…
These are a few of the cards, letters and messages we’ve received
Kind words from the families and friends we had the honour to work with
Thank you for all your help and support at such a sad time…
Thank you for all your help and support at such a sad time. My family and I felt so comforted to know that through our conversations you understood what Daphne meant to us.
The service on the day really did represent how we wanted to remember her life and the person she was.
She is greatly missed by so many and it was of great comfort to know that you cared about the process so strongly. With heartfelt thanks.

Lunch and Laughter, thank you for helping Mum having the best send-off ever!
I just wanted to thank you, on behalf of myself and all my family, for giving Mum the best send-off ever! The service went fantastically, and even though there were huge amounts of tears, we all felt it couldn’t have been any more personal and meaningful.
I’ve absolutely no idea how you do your job, day in and day out, but do it you do, and you are absolutely fantastic at it.
After we left Bowers Gifford we all went and had a wonderful lunch with lots of fizz and huge amounts of laughter, memories, tears and lots and lots of love ! Many, many thanks for making an extremely difficult day a lot easier and memorable.

You made a very difficult day very special for both myself and everyone there.
I felt I must let you know how wonderful you were on Friday. You made a very difficult day very special for both myself and everyone there. Your closing words were beautiful and spoken with such love and sympathy.
Everyone I spoke to thought you must have met and known Louis as your observations summed him up perfectly.
You have truly found your vocation and I’m sure bring comfort to many people. What a wonderful gift to have!
My sincere best wishes.

Difficult day made more comfortable.
Just a short note to thank you for officiating Mum’s funeral and for helping us with the planning of it in the lead up. I’m never comfortable at funerals, let alone one for such a close relative but your calm and welcoming approach made a big difference.
I think the day went as well as I could have hoped, in no small part, due to your contribution.

Long Distance
Thank you very much for your help in organising the funeral service for my Mother and for the way you conducted the service yesterday. I appreciated the way you read out my words of tribute, you read clearly and expressively and I was pleased I asked you to read it for me. Everything flowed very nicely and I found the committal moving and dignified.
I am sure this was not the easiest funeral you have had to co-ordinate, but despite the long distance consultation, you showed great patience, persistence, not to mention tact and it paid dividends in the end.
I am sure Mum would have been very content with what was a beautiful and fitting celebration of her life.
